system.

            Rewriting build scripts/batch jobs to incorporate the Intel 64
changes.   We used
            Clearcase as the source management tool.

            Senior Software Engineer primarily responsible for the DataWare II
            Publisher product.  Included maintaining and redesign of the
filters.
            Required intricate knowledge of the Word, Word-Perfect, RTF and
            HTML formats.  Code all written in C++.   Worked on and enhanced
            Web browser software which displayed the content of publisher
documents.
            This software dynamically generates HTML which is displayed on the
web.
            Designed and implemented source file filter.  Takes a directory of
files and 
            Processes them and places them into the KMS(Knowledge Management
            Suite) input contribution directories.  Wrote InstallShield
installation procedures for
            KMS products.

            Senior Software Engineer primarily responsible for 
            design and maintenance of Lexis-Nexis Citation products.
            For both Windows 16 bit and Windows 95.   Code
            all written in Visual C/C++.  Knowledge of Internal formats for
            Word/Word Perfect and AmiPro word processors was necessary
            as they were supported by the cite processing software.
            Converted 16 bit applications to 32 bit Windows 95.

            Senior Software Engineer primarily responsible for
            design and maintenance of layered products.

            Designed SequeLink server for System 1032.
            Consisted of an SQL translator written in PCYACC.
            C entry points for processing SQL statements into System
            1032 format.

            Designed C API interface to System 1032.  Consisted
            of 53 subroutines.

            Designed an X windows toolkit interface to System
            1032.  This toolkit library was written for both
            XUI and Motif.  It consisted of 68 subroutines.  It
            allows the System 1032 user to have access to most
            of the X windows features without having to learn a
            high level language.   Wrote the functional and user
            documentation for the toolkit.

            Ported most of the layered products written in C
            to the Open AXP VMS system.  Wrote Checkout programs
            for Cobol, Pascal & C API interfaces.

            Designed an interface to the SAS toolkit library for
            System 1032.   The System 1032 or SAS user now is able
            to convert a dataset to/from SAS.  Wrote functional an 
            user documentation for this interface.

            Wrote Visual Basic Selection Set Query Tool using
            System 1032 Remote API.  (GUI Query tool for System 1032)

            Wrote Visual C/C++ demos for Users Conference.
            (GUI interface).

            Converted Visual Basic Demo application to utilize System
            1032 Remote Host Language calls.

            Designed ExCel macro spreadsheet to interface to
            System 1032 via SequeLink

            Designed an serial port communications server for
            interfacing a Macintosh GUI application to System  1032.
            Designed a message protocol, provided host language calls
            into 1032 so the Macintosh application can interface to
            System 1032 over the serial port.  Wrote functional
            documentation for the server.

            Maintained and enhanced report writer for System 1032.
            Low level screen facility was Vermont Views.

            Maintained and enhanced System 1022 data base system.
            Mostly host language features which I added to support
            the Compuserve Tops-10 operating system.
