Manager, Security & Asset Management (2006-2008)
Promoted to direct IT information security for Bothell Location and Global IT
group, worked directly with
CSO, ISM Director and IT Director on all ISM implementation issues, remediation
tasks, and audits. Primary
interface between London, New Jersey, and Seattle contacts to accomplish the EU
Safe Harbor
implementation. Managed all assets of the IT department. Supervised IT
procurement. Established and
enforced asset management policies and procedures. Led a team consisting of a
security analyst and an
asset management / procurement analyst. Maintained and updated security
documentation and records.
Coordinated with cross-divisional personnel on ISO27001 implementation.

Administered daily operations for the network infrastructure. Managed a diverse
team of 12 Windows
administrators, UNIX administrators, and help desk staff. Directed
implementation of cross-platform server
architectures. Served as key contact with the parent company in Japan. Oversaw
all aspects of Perimeter
Security, including testing, updates, and issue resolution. Participated in
implementation of the ITIL best
practices model. Collaborated with the department‘s Director to outline policies
and strategy for internal

* Facilitated on-time implementation of World Wide Oracle Financials across
multiple locations by
implementing a frame relay wide area network.
* Executed a $0 annual cost bandwidth solution by rolling out MCI VPN at various
sites. Bandwidth
doubled, and in some cases, tripled.
* Improved bandwidth performance to 6 Mbps from lower frame relay speeds,
integrated the Osaka office
to access central Oracle servers and enabled sharing of information with US
offices by migrating to an
AT&T VPN solution. The solution was implemented at $0 additional annual cost.
* Enhanced network operations, centralized servers, and doubled bandwidth for
key locations by
branching away from AT&T and into new VPN solutions at $0 additional annual
cost.

Recruited to reengineer a new LAN and WAN infrastructure. Designed a new
solution from scratch.

company’s first web presence,
establishing email gateways and firewalls.
