Model Integration (CMMI) team 
Led    Impact of CMMI-based Process Improvement on Project Performance   
project, a collaboration between the SEI and PRTM. Planned and managed results of
this study, to be published in an SEI public report.
Developed metrics to improve predictability and software development project
quality, cost-efficiency, time-to-market, and customer satisfaction. Built
connection between factors that influence project performance and performance
benchmark measurements. In collaboration with Dr. Matt Fisher, formulated
definitions of project and measurement terminology to be used consistently across
organizations.     
Designed a study including logistics for testing its hypothesis and leading
indicators, developed evaluation parameters and benchmarks, coordinated work with
partners, documented findings, and prepared bi-weekly reports. 
  Visiting Scientist, SEI, Software Engineering Measurement and Analysis (SEMA)
team
Initiated and coordinated a project to bring together consulting and industry
organizations (including competitors) to establish normalized performance
metrics. Launched the Performance Benchmarking Consortium (PBC).
Reviewed over 500 organizational inputs to derive and determine quantitative
measures for comparable project performance benchmarking and established the
factors that influence project performance.
