Documenting information flow and handoffs of requirements between Engineering
functional groups as part of Six Sigma and ISO 9000 documentation of processes
and procedures.
• Wrote “On Air Notification” process document to ensure all internal WWC
departments as well as governmental regulatory processes are informed when new or
modified cell sites are completed.
• Wrote “Site Mod” process document, to ensure that RF projects are submitted
quickly and completely to System Development so research can be made at existing
sites to add RF antennas, equipment or MW equipment applications.
• Black Belt trained for WWC engineering department. One of 17 people from
company of 2500 employees to represent management to develop solutions for eight
projects. Wrote survey, compiled information, analyzed data, and compared to
baseline data. Developed solutions to reduce risk and minimize variance for
various project types within engineering.
• Project Manager for new and enhanced cell site and system development in 10
states (Amps, TDMA, CDMA, 1XRTT, switch upgrades, microwave backbone, etc) and
running weekly meetings identifying issues and working with cross-departmental
personnel for issue resolution.
• Project Manager of Econocell project – to use existing equipment from
inventory and purchase minimal equipment to create an inexpensive cell site for
expanded coverage, implemented 15 sites in 4 months.
• Project Manager-Developed Deposit Tracking Procedure, estimated saving,
$500,000 yearly. Produce missing deposit report weekly, coordinate review and
recovery with Customer Services, Sales and Fraud personnel.
• Project Manager-Developed Process/Procedure to ensure cancellation fees are
applied to customer accounts that have not met terms of their agreement. Review
