 * Fund Raising Coordinator for the Pacific Lutheran University men’s and
women’s crew team September 2008 – May 2009. The job description included
organizing and advertising many fund raising events throughout the university and
the community
*Internship in Costa Rican veterinary clinic January 2008. The job description
included observing and assisting in surgeries, bathing, grooming, feeding,
administering medicines and vaccinations, and entertaining domestic animals while
they were patients in the clinic.  I assisted the doctors, veterinary assistant,
and the secretary with the daily tasks in the veterinary clinic in order to gain
practical work experience in one of my fields of interest while learning to use
the Spanish language in a professional setting.  
*Rowing Coach at “No Barriers” Extreme Sports Conference July 2007.
The job description included, teaching people of all ages with various physical
disabilities to overcome their challenges through athletic participation.  I also
shared my personal experience as a college athlete and as a member of the Para
Olympic rowing team and candidate for the 2012 Olympic Games to help others build
confidence and use alternative techniques to learn new activities.  
*Volunteer service at an endangered sea turtle preservation in Costa Rica June
2004
The job description included turtle egg collection, nest excavation, release of
hatchlings to the sea, and tree planting on the nature reserve.  




*Spanish translation in Bogotáh, Columbia August 2006. The job description
included helping two American medical professionals communicate with Columbian
families while they provided health care to under privileged children in the
Bogotáh area.
