PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCES

Presently working Business Systems Analyst (BSA) for the Relationship Marketing
to understand the Business Requirements and formulate Design and also suggest
alternate solutions for the same.

Project Management: Interfacing with business owners and the development team
(.Net framework and SSIS) to provide overall project management for specific
applications. Gather and prioritize requests for data, reports and enhancements
to reporting tools. All these are done using the Agile Scrum Methodologies.
Interact with Offshore delivery Centre and make sure that the work is
understandable by the Dev and test team and delivery is on schedule based on the
Sprint scope and without any defects.

Business Analysis: Gather requirements from business owners to really understand
campaign elements and objectives; assist business owners to measure and analyze
marketing campaigns using existing Business Intelligence infrastructure. 

Prior to that worked as a Tech Lead for the Application Maintenance Project for
Output Services Application which has different processes that takes care of the
credit card statements that are generated on behalf of different clients and
mailed through the USPS or other mail system and then billed to the clients.
Helping in getting the client specific information and also at the account levels
for each clients. There are various reports that generated out of this
application for strategic management. All the processes are maintained in UNIX
shell scripts and Oracle PL/SQL.

Previously I was working as a Team Lead for the credit card division of a
banking client location in San Francisco on a data warehousing project in the
reporting front and working on Business Objects6.5 and using the ETL tool
Informatica. Also I was involved in the onshore/offshore team co-ordinations,
suggesting alternate solution to an existing process for better performance and
standardization. Understanding the business requirements of the new process and
clarifying the gaps from the business on case to case basis. Also I was doing the
Requirement Analysis for the reporting infrastructure project for the existing
reports.

I was involved in the KT phase for the MIS team and managing a team of 5
resources for 260+ reports. Understanding the client needs and formalizing the KT
document to get the work started offshore once we got back to offshore.

Performed Team management activities in the project for an Insurance Project for
an American Company. There are different modules which come as work pack. I was
responsible for modules that are coded using coolgen for the middle tier
application management which are being developed across two different locations.
Managing the teams across locations is the real challenge that I like. Also
defect free code delivery resulting in client appreciations thrills me a lot.

As a team leader, I was taking responsibility starting from design, development
& testing of various components.  Helping the team members in Issue resolution. 
Involved in reviews. Handling the Delivery issues. 

Apart from the project related activities I was also responsible for organizing
the monthly award meetings for different teams in the project along with other
team leads, Contributing towards RFPs that came up for different additional
requirements of the same client and resource ramp ups.
