• Management : The last 25 years of my career has been in IT, IS, or MIS
management. I have supervised as many as 15 people. Duties included budgets,
project management, vendor contracts, maintance contracts, software contracts,
telecommunication contracts, hardware selection, software selection, and over-all
direction of the IT areas of the companies.
• ERP Systems : MAPICS, MAPICS II, MAPICS DB, MAPICS XA, BPCS, Quickbooks, and
Peachtree. Worked with internal staff as well as other department managers in
installing and intigration of software systems. Performed the dudies of Project
manager during the implantation and conversion of software and hardware.
• LAN,WAN Experience : Installed and managed NT 4.0 servers, 2000 Domain
servers,2003 Domain servers, Novell servers, routers, hubs, proxy servers, T1,
DSL, Dialup, Tokenring, Ethernet, wired, wireless and fiber. Supported over 300
networked PC’s on local LAN, supported up to 8 WAN locations. Have used Remotely
Possible, PC Anywhere, Telnet, VPN, and Terminal Services.
• Programming Experience : Over 25 years of programming with RPG, RPGII, RPGIII,
13 years of programming on AS400 using RPGIV, RPG ILE, VISUAL RPG, CL, SQL, SEU,
SDA, DFU, QUERY 400. Other languagues and software include COBOL, VISUAL BASIC,
C++, EDI, TrustedLink, (Web design with Dreamweaver, Frontpage, and NetFusion)
Microsoft Office Versions 97 thru Enerprise 2007, Microsoft Project , Security
(Norton, McAfee, Trend Micro), Peachtree, Quickbooks, Crystal Reports, Auto Cad,
and numerious other PC applications.
