that allows the student to be engaged and understand the tools and training the
US Army has provided for soldiers; I have been directly involved in the training
of our Reserve fighting forces, preparing them for their roll in accomplishing
future missions. Using the latest software, I have directed the audio recording
and editing aspects of online courseware. I currently serve as a primary Visual
Information Specialist providing audio and visual information (VI) products and
services for the US Army Reserves, as well as the serving as secondary VTC
operator for 3 teleconference setups.

installation to meet the demands of today's changing information environment, I
directed the technical and managerial aspects of the transition. Forward thinking
helped me lead as the primary Visual Information Specialist providing all audio
and visual information (VI) products and services required by the installation
and tenant organizations. Administered, monitored, and evaluated operating
expenditures, I prepared future operating budget estimates.
My accomplishments include:
- Coordinated the design and installation of a base-wide visual communications
system allowing the commander to disseminate information as video, audio, or

- Shot over 2,500 Photographs covering base operations, VIP tours, ceremonies

As the commands Public Affairs Specialist in the Army Field Support Brigade
Public Affairs Office, I provided staff oversight of AFSB media relations and
community relations efforts within the command. I developed comprehensive command
public information media relations and community relations programs to convey
information and policy concerning AFSB to soldiers, department of defense
civilians and contractors serving the Brigade Headquarters. I directed and
coordinated the AFSB community relations programs. By evaluating the information
problems encountered in communicating the command's programs, I analyzed
information needs in terms of the public needs to be met and provided advice on
program information problems.
My accomplishments include:
- Redesigning, writing and growing the distribution of the 402nd Brigade
newsletter allowed me to increased readership tremendously during my combat tour
at Balad AB, Iraq
- Established and maintained effective working relationships with members of the
Joint Base Balad field offices, and specialized groups interested in AFSB war
fighting programs
- My skills allowed me to repair the 402nd S-7 plotter in a field environment,
saving the office $10,000 and extended down time.
