FMC Dialysis of Ripon and Oshkosh Clinics
Under the supervision of an RN, put patients on dialysis machines. Set up and
testing of the dialysis machines before patients connected. Proper making of the
bicarbonate solutions for patients. Correctly weighing and determining dry
weights before starting treatment. Any question on weights were asked to be
looked at by the nurse on duty. If needed, blood sugar was also checked.
Maintained sterile needle entry sites for grafts or fistulas. Extra caution
given with the heart catheter mode of entry. Responsible for drawing up heparin
and administering through access lines when needed. Regular checks that included
blood pressure, machine operation, venous and atrial pressure were done regularly
and consistently. Charting completed on worksheets that were filed in charts
after being triple checked.

Typing class taken in high school.
Three and one half years of business classes taken also during high school.
Have experience using computers at home and work using Microsoft programs. Can
navigate through the internet with ease.
Ability to lift heavy objects throughout the work day.
Completed "Wellspring" module on falls in the elderly and received certification
