• Maximizing nonprofit organization capacity building, organizational
development in such diverse areas as strategic planning, social networking,
succession planning, marketing, board development, volunteer recruitment, and
fundraising. Providing coaching, technical assistance, workshops; conducting
grant program inductions, reviews, mid-term check ins, and post assessments.
Creating an online “one stop and shop” information, learning and resource center
for whatever is needed at the click of a mouse.
ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR, DEPARTMENT CO-DEVELOPER, ADJUNCT FACULTY
Argosy University, School of Education and Organizational Leadership, Chicago,
IL 2004 – 2009 (Argosy has four colleges and 19 campus locations in 11 states.)
Myself, program chair and the other core faculty member resurrected and
completely rebuilt a department and program that was without a chair and
full-time faculty members for two years.
• Pioneered graduate program, leadership, and career success models, over 25
learning/ teaching aids, and a ‘one stop and shop’ learning and resource center
for empowering leadership, maximizing professional development, and career
advancement. Results: Students achieved quality major research projects and their
top life, career and leadership goals at the same time!
• Developed and taught classroom, online-enriched and blended learning courses
in Foundations of Leadership, Educational Leadership, Leading and Managing
Change,
Program Evaluation, Higher Education, and Research. Results: 4.7 to 5 course
evaluation ratings, online facilitator certification, E-College and WebEx
proficiency.
• Provided academic and dissertation advising; professional, career and
leadership development coaching; faculty development workshops, information and
resources. Developed comprehensive exams, rubrics and guides. Co-developed
university-wide Dissertation Guide, Prospectus and Proposal Manuals, and
Education Dissertation Rubric.

EDUCATION, LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT LEADER (New position)
Northern Trust Company, Chicago, IL 1999 – 2003
New position that pioneered developing, implementing and improving online
training, job aids, support, learning, information and resources for Illinois and
new out-of-state banks.
• Conducted comprehensive needs assessment and program planning. Collaborated
with all levels of management to form stakeholder, target-audience teams and
develop a dynamic strategic vision. Created one tool for resolving ten crucial
issues and achieve six key business objectives.
• Partnered with stakeholders, experts, top performers to provide information,
learning, development and support, and business-needed tools, job aids and
resources. Facilitated orientations, training, web conferencing, online and
virtual classroom learning.
• Team built four online 'one-stop' training and resource centers. Assisted
with Learning Management System development and Computer Based Training delivery.
E-learning

• Created a project plan for setting up new distant banks. Directed planning,
delivery and improvement of training and performance support for both new hires
and five new multi-state banks. Liaison between main bank and its distant banks
resolving problems and questions.

special cash and peer recommended awards for outstanding contributions and
meeting/exceeding client requirements. Locally started online resource centers

CONSULTING, CONTRACTING (while attaining a doctorate) 1992 – 1998
• Co-directed and implemented Motorola University's leading post-training
evaluation and continuous improvement initiative. Initiated action plans, team
building, managing change, gaining support and overcoming barriers. Generated
clients, conducted needs assessments,
facilitated courses. Completed Motorola's Instructor Training and Certification
Program. Results: Met/exceeded customer requirements for evaluation system
improvements; 28% increase in training departments conducting post-training
evaluations.
• Co-implemented, evaluated and improved Motorola’s CEO supported Parenting and
Child Education Initiative, Work and Family Conference and Facilitator
Development Workshops. Initiated action plans, team building, managing change,
gaining support and overcoming
barriers. Results: Established initiative in targeted Motorola regions;
participant satisfaction reported, met client requirements.
• Managed, developed and implemented more than 30 risk management and quality
improvement programs including a video for MMI external clients. Assisted clients

• Managed training and instructional design projects at United Airlines in a
