INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (OPERATING SYSTEM)

I am responsible for ensuring the integration of the Information Technology (IT)
programs and services within the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) agency. The
technical infrastructure consists of Sun Microsystems enterprise-class software
servers utilizing the Solaris version 10 Operating System (OS) UNIX.

As a member of the Tier 2 COTS Software Support Section (TSSB), I develop
solutions for the integration and interoperability of technical issues as they
relate to commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software products prior to their
deployment to the IRS production servers. 

I am responsible for researching, analyzing, developing, testing, installing,
maintaining and monitor COTS system software products and utilities on the
Corporate Tier II infrastructure. I provide COTS products and upgrades as needed
for the Corporate Tier II infrastructure to meet customer requirements. I provide
set-up support and maintenance of COTS products on the Corporate Tier II
infrastructure. I provide COTS testing and version control. I deploy COTS
products for the Corporate Tier II infrastructure. I serve as the lead to develop
and deploy security standards and products. I work in conjunction with Contracts
and Orders Management Branch in acquiring enterprise licenses for Tier II COTS it
is my responsibility to ensure that the product meets current and future business
requirements

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST – SYSTEM ANALYST

I developed a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) using Lotus Notes
Designer 6, LotusScript, Java and CORBA tools in the programming and deployment
of Procurement modules; Media Resource preparation module; Warehouse Inventory
Tracking module, and User Fee Services module for the recovery laboratories
diagnostic services charges.

I was IT Project Manager for the installation and configuration of a Facilities
Engineering software product "Proteus V" from Eagle Technology.

Also, as a IT Project Manager for the installation and configuration of an
Animal Resource Inventory Tracking software products Granite, and Veterinary
Management Services from Topaz Technology.

Citrix Administrator for a Metaframe Presentation Server 4.0 Farm that includes
five Servers , 3 Dell servers running Win2003 Operating System and two IBM server
running AIX servers. 

Notes System Engineer and Domino Administrator using Domino 7.0 for two Mail
Services and two Application Enterprise Servers loaded on an IBM 5.3 AIX
Operating System and functioning in Cluster environment.

As Domino Administrator I conducted the following functions: Perform creation
and certification of Notes Ids, Installation and Configuration Domino Servers,
Installation and Configuration of the Hardware Operating System, Demonstrate
knowledge of the ADMINP Process, Monitor Lotus Domino R6 Server logs, Monitor
Lotus Domino R6 Server console, Create and Delete Notes Users, Monitor and audit
database access Strategy for managing security, Management of Databases Access

As Lotus Notes R6 Developer/Designer, I developed the following modules:
Media Inventory Database: Used by the Technical Support staff and general
laboratory, personnel for requesting and tracking diagnostic media orders. 
Glassware Inventory Database: Tracks all glassware items used in the preparation
of diagnostic media orders.
Warehouse Inventory Database: A central repository for all laboratory as well as
office supplies
Procurement Database: A module that encompasses a complete purchase request life
cycle. From submission of the request, through internal NVSL approval processes,
market analysis, generation of a Purchase Order, processing of the order by the
vendor and finally, the receipt of the item by NVSL and the requesters.
User Fee Module: - Used to retrieve and distribute test results and billing
information.

I developed and maintained the Project Management European Telephone System
(PMETS) "Management Information System" database. The PM-ETS was developed
utilizing Informix Fourth Generation Language Structure Query (4gl/Sql), and a
multichannel memorandum distribution facility version II electronic mail part of
DOD network. Also, it had a TERM communication software program used as a
front-end to the network electronic system. The three modules automated were
Quality Assurance Test Division, Engineering Change Proposal, and Financial
Management.
